we’re a local start-up that’s reinventing community journalism and looking for individuals to copy edit descriptions of local businesses in the tri-state area. You’ll be working remotely to edit descriptions and approve listings to go live on our site. Descriptions should be edited for grammar, spelling, style and tone.

Ideal candidates will have copy editing experience, strong writing skills, a keen eye for detail, a firm grasp of AP style and a dedicated work ethic. You should also be Internet savvy and able dig for additional details when needed. Your role if accepted would be to physically post the already written ads, with very specific instruction. This is a 1099 Contractor Position and is a telecommuting position. Also, we have a unique position as a Front End "Greeter" for our Company.
