Reply to: gigs-hmjkb-1374576286@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

We are a growing invitation-only paid-subscription online social networking community.

Having recently launched an innovative new web site, we are seeking an internet savvy individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with honesty, intelligence, compassion and good social skills. The hours are fairly flexible and your location (e.g. home) is not important. The position is about half-time (e.g. 50% of a work month). Hours will increase as the community grows.

You will be responsible for providing online/email and telephone support to a values based online social networking community where integrity, honesty and courtesy are paramount. Location permitting, you may also be involved in some event organization.

We are NOT looking for someone between corporate jobs, but rather a person who is seeking a long term 'virtual' position with flexible hours.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Moderation of message boards according to certain criteria.
- Email and phone support of members (some members are quite technically challenged).
- Monitoring of website.
- Quality testing of new website functionality.
- Virtual assistant to the founder.

Skills required:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Great attention to detail.
- Confidence in independent decision making
- Ability to work well with a wide range of people from various backgrounds
- Strong technical/computer skills
- Web and internet savvy
- Familiarity with HTML and browsers
- Good a investigating & solving issue.

The company is based in New York - being located here is a plus but not a necessity.

This free-lance position will initially pay $1,000 per month, which will increase as the membership grows. Stock options may be offered as a bonus, based on performance.

Please send a resume AND cover email explaining why you are the right person and high-lighting any relevant experience and attach your resume as a word doc. Should we decide to move forward, professional & character references will be requested.

Start Date: October 1st 2009. Training will be provided.

* Location: East Coast
* it's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests
* Compensation: Per month

Media Curator

Media Curator (Freelance) (Online)
Date: 2009-09-14, 1:05PM EDT
Reply to: job-4qxdb-1373931508@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Energy Inside, a Cambridge-based Internet company, is seeking engaged and enthusiastic Internet users with a little bit of free time. We’re inventing a novel mental-health delivery system which will help people cope effectively and achieve greater emotional well-being – this system will be powered by pieces of online media (i.e. videos, pictures, blogposts, Flash toys, or whatever) that YOU will track down for us. Searching through the furthest corners of the Internet, Media Curators will find emotionally uplifting and powerful content; you will be paid $1 for every approved submission, as well as several other cash incentives for specific or high-quality items. Effective curators, working just in their spare time, have made up to $100/week and climbing.

The ideal candidate is an Internet junkie – accustomed to the worlds of blogging, online content sharing, and social networking – with a keen eye for undiscovered or unique content, and a healthy emotional intelligence which will enable him/her to introspectively analyze the emotional impact of media. This person is bright, probably a college graduate (or student), communicative, and willing to take on strange challenges. This person probably already spends a fair amount of time procrastinating on the Internet, often at work or school, and is ready to channel that activity into paid work.

This is a freelance, work-from-home-or-wherever position; there is no contract, nor is there a minimum or maximum amount of submissions.

If this sounds like you, let us know! Along with your cover letter and resume, please feel free to include one link to a piece of media online (video, photo, text, etc.) that you might send to a friend to make her/him feel more positive (i.e. more optimistic, joyful, relaxed or less anxious, worried, depressed). It can be something that would be reassuring, put your friend in a good mood, make your friend laugh, etc. Clean content only, please! Contact: careers@energyinside.me

* Location: Online
* Compensation: $1 per item -- weekly totals range from a few $ to $100+
* Telecommuting is ok.
* This is a part-time job.
* Principals only. Recruiters, please don't contact this job poster.
* Please, no phone calls about this job!

CSR

Customer Service Representative

AboutAirportParking.com is a rapidly growing website that is looking to hire its first customer service representative. Our site aims to help people with a simple question with complex answers, “Where should I park my car at the airport?” We list detailed information on over 400 lots in North America including prices, maps and customer reviews. In addition, visitors can book a reservation at many of these lots, generally at discounted rates. We began accepting reservations in June 2008. Since then have been named one of Travel + Leisure's top sites of 2008 and have been featured on CNN.com, ABCNews.com, the LA Times, Wall Street Journal and Daily Candy.

To this point, all customer service has been performed by the owners. As the company grows, this is becoming overwhelming. We are seeking someone not only to provide excellent service to our customers, but also to help us build the processes and training to support a growing organization.

The company is located in Menlo Park, CA in Silicon Valley. Employees will be able to work from home nearly anywhere in the United States, but we do prefer applicants in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The Job:
Your primary responsibility is to answer calls coming into our 800 number. Customers frequently have questions they would like answered before they book. Some customers simply prefer to speak to a person when making a reservation. Some callers are just lost and simply need to be redirected to the right place. Because of our small size, this is not a full-time job (at least not yet). We simply don’t receive enough calls to keep someone busy throughout the entire day. Given that, we expect to pay someone based on the time they spend on the phone: a higher rate for calls answered as they come in and a slightly lower rate for returned calls. In return, we understand that you may need additional flexibility in your schedule and hours and we do not expect you to be available to answer calls the entire day.

You:

* Have excellent communication and listening skills
* Tend to accommodate rather than dominate
* Have a high amount of patience
* Possess a strong attention to detail
* Have a great telephone manner
* Would be able to guide Customers who call you through our website
* Are extremely reliable and consistent
* Are able to summarize and communicate customer issues and problems to the development team to get them fixed preemptively
* Are a quick learner and happily document your learnings

To apply, please send a resume and description of yourself and why you are interested to erik [at] aboutairportparking.com

Executive Leaders Radio Show is the Mid- Atlantic’s number one business talk radio program. We are an entrepreneurial organization filled with opportunities, and we are expanding.

We need your help – and currently have the need for a permanent, part time, flex time publicist to join our team.

The right candidate will:
• have previous experience in corporate public relations and extensive publicity knowledge

• excellent verbal and written communications skills

• creativity to craft the stories of our wide variety of CEO guests and garner appropriate press coverage.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a former publicist / current work from home parent who is looking to reenter the workplace in a challenging yet flexible part-time position.

The ideal person will be someone who is loyal, organized, and self-directed. They must be able to convert simple biographies of our esteemed guests into valuable press and market to appropriate media sources efficiently.

This is a special opportunity to become a member of an intimate team that operates in a unique culture. Our core team is primarily comprised of professional men and women who have reinvented their careers after a child rearing sabbatical. We are a hard working and dedicated group that respects and supports one and other as we work toward the ultimate goal of producing a superior radio program.

Because our listeners are entertained and educated by our authentic CEO “real life secrets of success” interviews we’re able to build an audience. Simply visit www.Google.com and search for “Executive Leaders Radio.” You won’t believe how many CEOs proudly promote their visit on our show!

Our Guests include the “Who’s Who” of the business, non-profit and cultural community from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Washington D.C. and Virginia. Please visit www.ExecutiveLeadersRadio.com for our list, and to hear the interviews broadcast on WWDB, WHFS, CBS Radio and internationally on AolRadio.com.
The focus of our shows is to educate and inform our listeners regarding the leadership and management issues facing today's business leaders.
